Acute Management of Severe TBI

A 52-year-old male is intubated and sedated in the Neurocritical Care Unit after a severe traumatic brain injury from a fall from scaffolding. He presented with a GCS of 6 (E1 V1T M4), an acute subdural hematoma, and an initial intracranial pressure of 28 mmHg, for which an external ventricular drain was placed.
